Sole support for Guyana
How did it start?
Sole Support for Guyana is an organization that was founded by Ethan Wiltshire in August 2023.Ethan decided to start the organization after a week medical mission to Guyana in August 2023. While on the medical mission, Ethan volunteered in various villages in the east coast of Guyana. He noticed that some of the children who were in the villages were not wearing shoes and many of the children’s shoes were in very poor condition. Ethan, before leaving from the trip donated to the villagers some of his clothes and shoes that he had taken on the trip. This inspired Ethan to start Sole support for Guyana. He is currently the president of the organization and has collaborated withhis family and friends to help develop the organization. He enlisted his very creative and artistic brother Seth to create the sketch for the logo. Sole support for Guyana hopes to collect enough shoes to provide for young children in need so they can be safe, confident and empowered as they go about their day.
